| Wind power and wine production are two of the fastest growing industries in eastern Washington State. North Woods Productions documented the annual Wind& Wine Tour, sponsored by local electrical cooperative, Peninsula Light Company. On the tour, participants got to see the massive wind turbines in action up close. Sites visited included the State Line Wind Project, Nine Canyon, White Creek and Hopkins Ridge Wind Projects. For added fun and insight the group visited and tasted at a number of outstanding Washington Wineries. Washington is the second largest wine producing state in America. The tour ended with a short hike at picturesque Multnomah Falls at the lower Columbia Gorge in Oregon.
